At Magic Kingdom, you’ll find fantasy attractions such as Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road. All of these are quite fine.
The Magic Kingdom is divided up into five sections, Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrow land.
Adventureland has many attractions but Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the most popular. It is an indoor boat ride, with a Pirates theme. You’ll see Pirates raiding an island., singing and having a good old time.
One of Fantasyland’s cool attractions is The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. This indoor ride has Winnie the Pooh, going into the Hundred Acre Woods, where he’s looking for his friends. You’ll see Piglet and Tigger, and some of the rest of the gang while riding through the woods.
Frontierland has two major rides, Big Thunder Mountain Ride and Splash Mountain. Splash Mountain is a water flume, ride, where you’ll go through swamps and caves before you take a obligatory five-story water plunge. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has more of a Western theme while you’re traveling through an old Western mind. You are riding a runaway train where you’ll see falling rocks, and maybe even experience an earthquake.
Liberty Square’s main attraction is The Haunted Mansion. The Haunted Mansion is more of a visual attraction. You travel through a house, room by room, and then a cemetery while checking out the ghostly happenings.
Tomorrowland has the scariest attraction of all called Space Mountain. It is a roller coaster that portrays a spaceflight through darkness. This roller coaster ride has some special effects and is the fastest ride in Magic Kingdom. Children under the age of seven need to be accompanied by parents on this ride. There is also a height requirement of 44 inches as a safety precaution.
Epcot Center is designed in different sections by countries, Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, America, Japan, Rocco, Freya, United Kingdom, and Canada.
When you arrive into Epcot. There’s so many things going on in each World Showcase that it’s difficult to decide on what to see and forgo. Some of the highlights in the Epcot Center is the film “Reflections of China” ,which is about the Chinese people and their culture. It’s a 15 minute movie and is a wonderful production about China. You’ll find all kinds of entertainment and performances around the World Showcases.
Illuminations is an outdoor show, with fireworks, laser lights and music on the lagoon. Stake out seating for the show beforehand because guests , usually find seats about 90 minutes before the show. The area fills up quickly for this show.
There is so much else to see and do at Disney World that this is just the beginning, a highlight of what there is to do in Disney.
